This presentation is designed to give an introductory overview of microgrids and the use of distributed energy resources to help a facility meet their goals of resiliency, sustainability and economic return. The conversation will focus on how the typical microgrid should be expected to operate for both grid-connected and islanded situations. Common use cases will be discussed along with typical control solution architectures.
